I studied for an undergraduate degree in Biology. I then went on to study for my masters degree at the University of Glasgow. Both cities were fun to study and work in! There were loads of opportunities for students like me to have fun, gain experience in your field and participate in social events.
I did my undergraduate degree in India.. this was a degree in genetic engineering. Then I went to the University of Washington, Seattle, USA for 8 months to work in stem cell engineering..
After that I came to London to do a masters in Molecular Biophysics at Kings college London. Finally, right now I am doing a PhD in Cancer structural biology at the Institute of Cancer Research in London.
I went to school in Guildford, then Cambridge for university. I picked Cambridge because they had a science course where you got to take modules from several different sciences, and didn’t have to decide what to specialise in until your third year. I knew I liked science but wasn’t yet sure what kind of science I liked best, so I wanted that extra time to decide!
