I did always find science interesting but, when i was at school, there were parts of it that i thought were SO BORING! But I realised that a big part of that was how i was taught! I went from having some pretty boring teachers to having some incredible ones and, all of a sudden, science became a whole lot more interesting! That being said, science isn’t everyone’s favourite thing and that’s okay! Here are a few suggestions of things that might persuade you that science can be fascinating, surprising and even hilarious: Check out ‘Crash Course’ on Youtube for some amazing science videos and the ‘Horrible Science’ series (just like Horrible Histories, but for science) – Also, if you get a chance, go to the Science Museum in London and watch their science shows – there is one all about the science of FIRE and EXPLOSIONS – can’t say that’s not cool! 😎🧬🔬🔮🚀

Yeh I really enjoyed science! Mostly Biology, but I absolutely HATED the maths side of science. I also didnt particularly like the Physics side of things either.. but I have come to appreciate both these subjects as I have grown up!!
It’s okay if you don’t like science though, but hopefully there is something you like and are passionate about!
I would say that science isn’t just about everything you learn in a classroom… like Sammie says to a museum or Science centre I always find them fascinating and the demonstrators there can show you some really cool science-y things! Like for this years British Science Week we got kids to build and code your own robots. It was soo much fun and these guys got their robots to chase me round the room!
I would also recommend the series explained. on netflix! Super interesting stuff!

haha mate, I don’t think any of us actually started liking science completely until the last couple of years at school or after school.
As a kid, I was just the opposite of Rebecca. I loved maths and I loved calculating stuff and having fun with numbers. I used to have little competitions with other kids in my class to see who finished first. It was fun! I won a lot of chocolates that way haha!

Also, science can only be appreciated when you are curious about the world. As a kid, we all only cared about eating, sleeping, playing games and watching movies!
After school, you start wondering how those special effects in movies work..or how dreams happen when we sleep and how everything around us actually works. So when you read about the science behind that to find your answer, that is when science seems interesting.
