On paper, £32,000 a year. However, some of that is money I never see because it goes straight into my future pension or on taxes. The amount I actually get to take home is in the same £20-25,000 range as Varun.

I get £23,000 and my salary increases each year as my position is within a grade. So I can make up to £28,000. But when all the boring stuff comes off (pension, tax, gym membership) I don’t end up taking home exactly that much, just like Anna said!
